Mai Lee Scholarship

The 2025–2026 Scholarship Application Cycle is now open!

Each year, we proudly support Hmong students pursuing careers in nursing. The scholarship program is designed to empower the next generation of healthcare leaders who are committed to serving their communities with excellence, compassion, and cultural understanding.

📅 Key Dates:

• Applications Open: August 1, 2025

• Application Deadline: December 31, 2025

• Notification of Awards: May 1, 2026

• Award Disbursement: August 2026 (prior to Fall semester)

💰 Scholarship Awards:

• Multiple scholarships: $1,000

• Open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students in accredited nursing programs

🧾 Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be of Hmong descent

• Must be a Hmong Nurses Association Member

• Enrolled or accepted into a nursing program

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Demonstrated commitment to community service or leadership

📎 Required Materials:

• Completed online application form

• Official transcript(s)

• Two letters of recommendation (one academic, one community/service-based)

• Personal statement (500 words) addressing your goals in healthcare and community impact
